The production portfolio consists of multiple documentaries already in production, headlined by PBS primetime success Walking the Bible and a celebrity-driven music documentary, Latin Rhythms: One World.
With its three-hour, high-definition documentary miniseries, Walking the Bible, TMC cemented its reputation for providing innovative, quality TV content to broadcasters in Europe and the U.S.. The series aired on the 357 member stations of the prestigious PBS network during primetime in January 2006. It achieved substantial ratings, a 31% increase over the average ratings for PBS’s most popular program. It was rebroadcast during the winter holiday season. In March 2006 it became available on DVD in the retail market and was the #1 seller for PBS! Led by the able leadership of Drew Levin – (Drew S Levin Bio), TMC is in production of additional programming of the same genre, The Route to Christianity. It will be completed for broadcast in fall 2009. The television production of Latin Rhythms: One World is expected to be complete by March 2008. The series has been pre-sold and will be presented in conjunction with a two-hour live concert, which will feature a contemporary collection of globally recognized Latin music. Subsequent broad-casts on European networks are scheduled. |
